BAKED ONION AND POTATO 
2 1/2 lbs. potatoes, peeled & sliced
1 c. thinly sliced onion
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. oregano, crushed
1/8 tsp. thyme, crushed

Heat oven to 450 degrees. Layer potatoes and onion in greased 2 1/2 quart casserole. Add spices to melted butter and pour on vegetables. Cover and bake 50 to 60 minutes or until tender.
