ROAST SPARERIBS 
1 slab pork spareribs, about 2 1/2 lbs.
4 tbsp. Hoisin sauce (available in Chinese section of supermarket)
2 tbsp. ketchup
1/4 c. soy sauce
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 tbsp. dry white wine

Mix together all ingredients except ribs. Pour and rub into ribs, let stand 2 to 3 hours or overnight. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place ribs on rack in pan and bake 2 hours, turning once. Baste occasionally.
