BREADED PORK CHOPS 
6 to 8 pork chops
2 c. cracker crumbs
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. water or cream

Wipe pork chops dry (this is important). Beat eggs with salt and water or cream; then dip dry pork chop into cracker crumbs, then into egg mixture, then back into cracker crumbs and place in heated shortening. After browning on one side, turn. Sprinkle with pepper and fry very slowly, about 20 minutes.
