STOVE TOP BAKED BEANS 
53 oz. can pork & beans
1 onion, chopped
1/2 bell pepper, chopped
1 lb. pork sausage
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tbsp. mustard
1/3 c. bar-b-q sauce

Brown sausage; drain off grease. Add onions and bell pepper to sausage and saute. Pour beans into a 3 quart or larger pot; remove some of the juice (a crock pot may be used). Add brown sugar, mustard, barbeque sauce and sausage mixture. Cook on low heat for AT LEAST an hour. Stir occasionally, just to be sure it isn't sticking to the bottom.
