SOUTHERN STYLE CROCK-POT BAKED
BEANS
 
2 (28 oz. ea.) cans baked beans (I use Bush's Homestyle)
1/2 lb. bacon (8 slices), chopped into small pieces
1 medium onion, chopped
3 tbsp. barbecue sauce (I use Open Pit)
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

To Crock-Pot add beans, garlic powder, salt, pepper, mustard and barbecue sauce. Turn to low.

Meanwhile, cook bacon in skillet until crispy (do not discard bacon grease). Add onions to bacon skillet and sauté until tender.

Add bacon, onions AND bacon grease to beans. Cook on low for 4 hours.
