SEASONED CRACKERS
1 box (4 sleeves) Premium Saltine Crackers
1 1/4 cups canola oil
2 tablespoons crushed Red Pepper (Pizza pepper)
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (or less, to taste)
1 teaspoon garlic powder (or less, to taste)
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 pkg Dry Ranch Salad Dressing Mix

1. Stand all crackers on their edges (like papers in a file) in a large glass or plastic jar (big pickle jar or big plastic Cheetos jar).

2. Mix all remaining ingredients in a small bowl to become a dressing.

3. Pour the dressing over the crackers. Roll the container every 5 minutes for 30 minutes to evenly disperse the dressing.

Enjoy!!

Everybody loves these crackers. I use only the oil, Ranch Dressing mix and one tablespoon cayenne peppper. Place them in a gallon plastic bag and toss side to side.

I really enjoy the Ranch flavored crackers but I have found a great substitute. I recently ran out of elbow noodles while making macaroni salad. I looked through the pantry and found a box of mac n cheese. I used the noodles to complete the salad but struggled to find a use for the cheese powder. Today I made the cracker recipe except put the cheese powder in the cracker dressing in place of the ranch. They turned out very good. Almost like home made cheez-its.
