GERMAN CHOCOLATE BROWNIES 
1 1/2 c. self rising flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 (8 oz.) pkg. German sweet chocolate, melted
3/4 c. butter, melted
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. shredded coconut
1/4 c. butter, melted
2 tbsp. brown sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan with aluminum foil and grease lightly. Stir: flour, and sugar and set aside. Mix: melted chocolate and 3/4 cup melted butter. Add eggs and vanilla to chocolate mixture and blend until smooth. Combine: flour mixture with chocolate mixture and stir until well combined. Spread batter into prepared pan and bake 10 minutes. Mix: pecans, coconut, 1/4 cup melted butter and brown sugar until well blended. Sprinkle pecan mixture evenly over batter and bake an additional 25 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted one inch from middle comes out barely moist. Do not overbake. Cool completely on a wire rack. Remove from pan, peel off foil and cut into squares. Makes 2 dozen. 2 x 2 inch brownies.
