CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. coconut
1 c. instant oatmeal
12 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. Rice Krispies

Mix sugars, shortenings, vanilla, salt, and egg. Beat well with mixer. Add flour, soda, cream of tartar, coconut and oatmeal. Mix well. Fold in chocolate chips and Rice Krispies. Drop on cookie sheet. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
