BUTTERED FRESH BEETS | |
2 lb. beets Water Cut beet tops off 2 inches from beet to prevent bleeding. Do not remove skin or roots. Cover with water, cook until tender 30-50 minutes. Cool. Rub off skins and slice or dice. Add: 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. salt Melt butter in saucepan and add salt and pepper. Add to beets. 6-7 servings. |
