BANANA CRISP 
4 c. bananas (1/2 inch slices)
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Place bananas in greased casserole (about 1 1/2 quarts); sprinkle with salt. Combine bread crumbs with butter, using pastry blender or 2 knives; blend in sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over bananas. Bake in moderate oven 375 degrees 15 to 18 minutes or until bananas are tender and crumbs browned. Serve with cream. Makes 6 servings.
