TAFFY APPLE SALAD 
8 lg. unpeeled Delicious apples
2 c. dry roasted peanuts, crushed
6 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
8 oz. tub Cool Whip

Mix together in saucepan the following:

1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
2 beaten eggs
Pineapple juice

Cook over heat until thick. Add apples and all but 1/2 cup nuts, pineapple and Cool Whip. Mix well. Sprinkle with nuts and chill.
