TAFFY APPLE SALAD | |
4 c. Granny Smith apples, cut up 1/2 c. sugar 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice 1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1 egg, beaten 2 tbsp. cider vinegar 1 c. dry roasted peanuts, chopped Cook sugar, pineapple, egg, cornstarch, and vinegar until thick (stir constantly). Let mixture cool. Fold in apples, Cool Whip, and half of the peanuts. Top with remaining nuts. |
