TAFFY APPLE SALAD | |
4 c. diced apples, do not peel 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained real well 1/2 c. sugar 1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip 2 tbsp. vinegar 1 tbsp. flour 1 egg 1 c. dry roasted peanuts In saucepan mix flour, sugar, and egg. Add pineapple juice and vinegar. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Let cool. Pour cooled mixture over apples, pineapple and peanuts. Mix together and fold in Cool Whip. Place in serving dish and sprinkle some nuts on top. |
