LITTLE APPLESAUCE MUFFINS 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. applesauce
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. sugar with 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

In large bowl cream softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until fluffy. Beat in applesauce. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to butter mixture. Stir just enough to moisten.

Spoon into 36 greased tea-size muffin cups. (Regular muffin pans may be used along with cupcake papers.)

Bake at 450 degrees for about 15 minutes. Remove from oven. While warm, dip top into melted butter and then cinnamon and sugar mixture. 83 calories per tea size muffin.
