CHERRY BUBBLE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can pie cherries
1/2 c. juice from cherries
2 eggs

Sift dry ingredients. Add juice and eggs. Fold in cherries. Pour in oblong pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. Pet milk
6 tsp. butter, 3/4 stick

Boil ingredients in pan on stove for 1 1/2 minutes. Pour over hot cake. Nuts may be added on top, if desired.
