APPLE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. corn oil
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. diced apples
Juice of 1 lemon
1 c. chopped walnuts
Use Bundt pan

Combine sugar and corn oil, beat. Add eggs, 1 at a time beating after each. Add dry ingredients and vanilla. Combine thoroughly and then fold in apples, lemon juice, and walnuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 75 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes, then remove from pan.

CARAMEL GLAZE:

6 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. brown sugar
4 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter, add other ingredients and bring to rolling boil. Boil rapidly 2 minutes (until thickens slightly). Cool and pour on cake.
