ED'S BEER BATTER SHRIMP 
2 lb. fresh or frozen shrimp or 1 1/2 lb. peeled and deveined frozen shrimp
1 c. flour
2 tsp. paprika
Pinch of cayenne pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. beer (12 oz.)
Peanut oil

Clean shrimp if necessary. If frozen, let thaw on paper towels. Combine flour, paprika, cayenne, and salt in mixing bowl. Gradually beat in beer until batter is quite thin. Dip shrimp first in more flour, then in beer better. Deep fry in peanut boil at 400 degrees for 2 minutes.
