CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
3 sqs. chocolate
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. lukewarm water
1/2 c. sour milk
Salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. hot water
2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Instead of cake flour, sift regular flour twice before measuring. Cream butter and sugars; add melted chocolate. Add eggs, one at a time. Melt soda in tablespoon hot water. Add to mixture. Add milk, dry ingredients, salt, and vanilla. Mix well. Lastly add warm water. Pour into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
