CALICO VEGETABLE SALAD 
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
4 stalks celery, diced
1 sm. diced onion
1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
1/4 c. diced green pepper

Cook mixed vegetables according to directions for 5 minutes (crisp tender); drain. Put into mixing bowl. Add rest of listed ingredients. Toss with dressing.

DRESSING:

3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 tbsp. cornstarch

Cook until clear. Pour over vegetable mixture while hot. Let marinate overnight.
