BAKED BARLEY 
1/4 c. butter
1 c. barley
1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced
1/2 c. sm. onion
1/2 - 1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
3/4 c. almonds, sliced
4 c. water
2 broth cubes

Mix water and broth cubes. Add barley, mushrooms, onion, cheese and almonds in a large baking dish; mix well. Cover. Bake for 2 hours in a 350 degree oven.
