CABBAGE BEEF SOUP 
4 lbs. chopped cabbage
1 lb. chopped onion
3 lbs. ground beef
2 1/2 lbs. (1 can) kidney beans
1 (46 oz.) can chopped tomatoes
1 (29 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (11 1/2 oz.) can beef consomme
1 oz. salt
1/2 oz. black pepper (I add some red pepper)
1 oz. Worcestershire sauce

(Brown as for chili only don't make too fine, kind of large pieces of meat).

Use large kettle, add all this to cooked ground beef and cook until cabbage is done. If soup is too thick, add 1 large can V8 juice.
