PASTRY CRUST | |
1 c. plain flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/3 c. butter 3 tbsp. cold water Sift the flour with the salt. Rub in the butter until the mixture is the consistency of fine bread crumbs. Add the water and mix to a firm dough. Divide the dough in quarters. Roll one quarter directly onto the buttered bottom of a 9 inch (23 cm) springform pan. Bake in a 400 degree oven for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. |
