BUTTERSCOTCH MARBLE CAKE | |
1 pkg. yellow cake mix 1 (3 3/4 oz. or 4 oz.) pkg. instant butterscotch pudding mix 1 c. water 1/2 c. cooking oil 4 eggs 1/2 c. chocolate syrup In large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, water and oil. Beat in medium speed for 2 minutes or until mixture is smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Pour 2/3 of batter into well greased and floured 10 inch fluted tube pan. Mix the remaining 1/3 batter with the chocolate syrup, pour evenly over the butterscotch mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until cake tests done. Cool 25 to 30 minutes in pan. Remove from pan. Cool on wire rack. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. |
