NUTTY CARAMEL CORN 
12 c. air-popped popcorn
1-3 c. peanuts, optional
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 tbsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. vanilla

Place popcorn and peanuts in large roasting pan. In a large saucepan mix sugar, butter and corn syrup. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stir constantly and boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add soda and vanilla; mix well. Pour over pop corn and peanuts and mix thoroughly.

Bake at 250 degrees for 35 minutes, stir after 10 minutes and again after 30 minutes. Put quickly on sheet of foil and let cool.
