1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. Crisco
2 eggs
1 c. cream
1 c. raisins (optional)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. flour

Beat sugar, Crisco and eggs. Dissolve soda in cream. Combine other dry ingredients and add alternately with cream. Drop on a greased baking sheet and bake in a 350 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
