BROWN JIM COOKIES 
1 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Pecan halves

Mix together and beat well Crisco, sugar, and eggs. Add flour and salt and beat hard; add vanilla.

Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet; place pecan half on top. Bake at 325 degrees until brown on edge. Let cool before removing from the cookie sheet.
