Cold cooked grits 1 egg, beaten Equal parts flour and cornmeal for coating Oil Slice cold grits about 1/4 inch thick. Dip in beaten egg and coat well with flour and cornmeal mixture. Deep fry in medium hot oil until golden brown. Serve hot as has browns. Good for dinner or breakfast. |
