SUNDAY BRUNCH OMELET 
1/2 lb. bacon
6 slices white bread
1/2 c. white wine
1/2 c. sour cream
2 lg. green peppers, diced
1 lg. onion, diced
6 fresh tomatoes, sliced OR
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
9 eggs
1 c. milk
2 pkgs. shredded cheddar cheese
1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms
Butter
Salt and pepper

Remove crust from bread. Melt 1/8 pound butter and pour into 9 x 13 baking pan. Layer bread in buttered pan. Pour 1 package cheese on bread. Layer onion, green pepper, and mushrooms. Place tomatoes on top.

In bowl mix wine, sour cream, milk, eggs, baking powder, and 1 package cheese. Pour over all. Bake uncovered at 350-400 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Slightly fry bacon. Place on top and broil. Serves 6.
