POTATO CASSEROLE 
1 c. milk
4 hash brown patties, thawed
1/2 stick butter
1 1/2 tbsp. onion flakes
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
Sharp Cheddar cheese, grated

Bring milk and butter to a boil. Add onion flakes and thawed hash brown patties (break up potato patties). Mix together until the milk is absorbed. Add salt and pepper. Transfer to greased casserole, 8 x 8 inch or 9 x 9 inch. Top with grated cheese. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. May be made early in the day and baked later.
