SAUERKRAUT - SAUSAGE CASSEROLE | |
1 #2 can sauerkraut (1 lb.) 1 lb. link sausages or sausage patties 4-6 white potatoes (depending on size) Peel, cook and mash potatoes. Rinse and drain kraut to remove some of the salt. Place kraut in bottom of lightly greased casserole. Add a layer of mashed potatoes. Then place sausage on the top. Turn these over after 15 minutes or so. Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour (or until the sausages are well done.) Serves 4-6. |
