LINCOLN & LEE PUDDING | |
1 c. brown sugar 2 c. water 1/2 c. butter 1 c. flour 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1/2 c. raisins 1/2 c. milk 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. baking powder Cook and bring to a boil the first 3 ingredients to make a syrup. Mix the rest of the ingredients for batter. Place syrup in the bottom of a 2 quart baking dish. Drop batter by teaspoonful onto hot syrup. Bake at 400 degrees until batter is cooked through, about 40 minutes. Test after 30 minutes. Serve hot or cold. |
