CHOCOLATE CHERRY BARS 
1 pkg. Pillsbury Plus Devils Food Cake Mix
21 oz. cherry fruit filling
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs, beaten

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan or 13 x 9 inch pan. In large bowl, combine BASE ingredients. Stir by hand until well mixed. Pour into pan. Bake jelly roll pan 20 to 30 minutes; 13 x 9 inch pan 25 to 30 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk
1 c. (6 oz. pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces

In small saucepan, combine sugar, butter and milk. Boil, stirring constantly, 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate pieces until smooth. Pour over warm bars. Makes about 3 dozen bars.
