JANE'S HAM BARBEQUE | |
2 med. onions, chopped 1/2 med. green pepper, chopped 2 ribs celery, chopped 2 tbsp. butter 1 c. brown sugar 1/3 c. vinegar 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce Ketchup 2 lbs. VERY thinly sliced ham Saute' onions, pepper and celery in butter until soft. Add brown sugar and vinegar; heat, stirring, until the sugar is dissolved. Add tomato sauce and heat. Add ketchup to taste. Simmer 15 minutes. Add ham and heat. Serve on hamburger buns. |
