BUTTERY CARAMEL CORN 
16 c. popcorn (popped)
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1 stick butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Place popped popcorn in large paper bag. Combine brown sugar, corn syrup, butter and salt in 8 cup batter bowl. Microwave on full power for 2 minutes. Stir well. Microwave 3 minutes, stirring after each minute. Add vanilla and baking soda. Stir well and pour over the popcorn in the paper bag.

Shake well and microwave on full power with the end of the bag folded for 3 minutes. After 1 minute shake bag well. After 2nd minute again shake bag well. After 30 seconds shake bag well, after the last 30 seconds shake bag well and pour out onto foil or cookie sheet and let cool. Store in airtight container.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
