CHICKEN FRIED STEAK 
1 1/2 lb. round steak
2 tbsp. milk
2 beaten eggs
1 c. fine cracker crumbs
1/4 c. shortening
Salt & pepper to taste

Pound the steak thoroughly. Mix milk and eggs. Dip the steak in egg mixture; then roll in cracker crumbs. Put shortening in heavy skillet and brown meat on both sides with low temperature. Cook over low heat for 45 minutes. Also add salt and pepper.
