LEMON SUGAR COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
1 c. butter

1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. cooking oil
2 lg. eggs
1 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix flour, soda, salt and cream of tartar. Add to above and beat well. Add:

1 tbsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Then add 4 cups flour that has been sifted. Chill 2 to 4 hours. Make into little balls and criss cross with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
