HAM RECIPE 
1 (4 to 5 lbs. piece) fresh pork leg
2 c. brown sugar, dissolved in 4 c. water or enough to cover meat
1/2 c. salt
Sprinkle of pepper
1 tsp. salt peter

HAM GLAZE:

1 lb. brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. mustard
1/4 tsp. ground cloves

Blend everything together. Remove ham from oven 20 minutes before it is done. Score fat in criss-cross pattern; stud with whole cloves. Coat ham with glaze. Bake in hot oven (400 degrees F.) for 20 minutes, basting if necessary.
