1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. flour 2 c. water 1/2 tsp. powdered alum 15 drops oil of cloves Mix sugar, flour, water and alum in saucepan. Cook on low heat, stirring constantly until thick. Remove from heat and add oil of cloves. Makes 1 pint and will keep for several months. |
