BURGER LOAF WITH SWEET AND SOUR
GLAZE
 
1 med. onion, chopped
6 slices whole wheat bread, cubed
1 (20 oz.) can Worthington vegetarian burger OR
1 1/2 c. Grandburger, unreconstituted
1 1/2 c. grated cheese
4 eggs
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. sage or poultry seasoning
1 stick butter

In a large skillet melt butter; saute onion and bread cubes. In a large bowl, combine sauteed mixture with burger, cheese, eggs and spices. Press into a 9 x 9 inch baking dish. Pour the sweet and sour glaze over the top and bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Serves 8 to 10. This freezes well.

SWEET AND SOUR GLAZE:

1/2 c. catsup
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. water
