1 gal. softened vanilla ice cream
1 (4 oz.) jar chopped cherries with juice
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 oz. bourbon
6 coconut macaroon cookies
1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)
1/4 c. chopped almonds (optional)

In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix thoroughly until uniform then return to freezer covered for 2 hours then serve.
