GREEN CHILI-ENCHILADA CASSEROLE 
1 dozen tortillas
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. chopped onion
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. chopped green chilies
2 cans enchilada sauce

Dip tortillas in hot shortening to soften; drain on absorbent towels. Layer tortillas with onion and cheese in shallow baking dish; top with green chilies. Pour enchilada sauce over green chilies. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
