HILDA'S VANILLA WAFER CAKE 
2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
6 med. or 5 lg. eggs
1/2 c. milk
12 oz. vanilla wafers, finely crushed
1 c. chopped nuts
7 oz. Angel Flake coconut

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beat well and add cookie crumbs. Mix well. Add 1/2 cup milk and fold in nuts and coconut. Line the bottom of a tube pan with brown paper. Pour batter into well greased and floured pan. Bake at 275 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
