GRANDMOTHER FISHER'S SPAGHETTI 
1 lb. bacon (crisp, fried & drained)
1 lb. hamburger, browned with 1 lg. chopped onion
Add 1 green pepper in short strips
1 tsp. chili powder
Add 1 lg. can tomatoes, break into pieces
1 sm. can tomato paste & water as needed
1 lb. spaghetti, cooked & drained
1 lb. Colby cheese (squares) & some grated

Simmer all 6 first ingredients for 1/2 hour. Layer sauce (cheese squares scattered in) and spaghetti alternately. In large metal open roaster, sprinkle grated cheese on top. Can add more tomato juice if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or bubbly. Cut in squares to serve. Delicious second day around! Can freeze!
