PUMPKIN CAKE WITH CREAM CHEESE
FROSTING
 
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
2 c. flour
2 c. canned pumpkin
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt

FROSTING:

8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 stick butter, softened
1 lb. confectioners' sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a tube pan.

Combine eggs, sugar, and pumpkin in large bowl and beat well. Add oil and continue beating. Combine flour, cinnamon, soda, and salt in separate bowl. Add to pumpkin mixture and combine well. Add vanilla. Bake in prepared pan for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
