SWEET POTATO BISCUITS 
2 c. cooked mashed sweet potatoes
1/2 c. butter or Crisco, melted
2/3 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. cinnamon or allspice

Combine sweet potatoes, shortening, spice, sugar, baking powder, milk and enough flour to make thick dough. Knead out in tray or pan, then make into biscuits and place on cookie sheet.

Bake at 325°F until golden and done.
