FILLED DROP COOKIES 
1 box light brown sugar
1 c. Crisco or butter
2 eggs
1 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
3 tsp. baking soda (baking)
3 tsp. cream of tartar
6 c. flour
8 oz. nuts
1 1/2 c. coconut
12 oz. chocolate chips
10 oz. maraschino cherries or drained pineapple

Melt together in saucepan brown sugar and Crisco. In a large bowl beat eggs, milk, vanilla. Add melted Crisco and beat until smooth. Stir in baking soda, cream of tartar and add flour. Mix well. Stir in chopped nuts, coconut and chocolate chips. If desired, you can use both cherries and crushed pineapple. Drop by tablespoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
