HONEYBUNCH MUNCHIES 
1 1/4 c. rolled oats
1 c. coconut
1/2 c.all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
3 tbsp. honey
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Pecan halves (optional)
Whole dried apricots (optional)

In a large mixing bowl stir together oats, coconut, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg. In a small saucepan cook and stir butter, sugar and honey over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat; pour over oat mixture. Mix well.

Grease 1 3/4 inch muffin pans. Place 1 tablespoon of the oat mixture into each muffin cup. Bake at 350 degrees oven for 12 to 14 minutes or until brown. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Using a knife loosen edges and remove munchies from pan. Cool completely on wire racks.

In a small heavy saucepan melt chocolate over low heat stirring until smooth, dip each munchy into chocolate, narrow end up. Let stand on waxed paper.

Top with pecan or apricot.:

Makes 32 munchies.
