EASY BEEF STEW | |
1 1/2 lbs. stew beef 4 med. potatoes (cubed) 4 med. carrots (cubed) 3 stalks celery (sliced) 1 med. onion (diced) 1 can tomato soup Place all the above ingredients in layers into a casserole dish with a tight lid. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour soup (undiluted) with 1/2 can of liquid such as wine, bouillon, water or tomato juice. Cover and place in 300 degree oven and forget it for about 3 hours. Do not stir or open. |
