EASY BEEF STEW | |
1 1/2 lbs. beef cubes (1 inch) 2 tbsp. Crisco 1 can Campbell's beefy mushroom soup 1 med. onion 1 med. bay leaf (optional) 3 c. frozen stew vegetables In large heavy pan, brown beef in shortening, pour off fat. Add soup and bay leaf, cover: simmer 1 1/2 hours. Add vegetables. Cook 30 minutes more or until done. Stir occasionally. Makes 6 servings. |
