SAUCEPOT MEATBALLS 
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1/2 c. water
2 c. tomato juice
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. ground thyme
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. parsley

Combine soup mix, water and tomato juice in a deep saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer covered for 15 minutes. Mix ground beef, seasonings and parsley. Shape into meatballs and place in juice mixture. Simmer uncovered 30 to 40 minutes or until meat is done, turning meatballs occasionally. Serve over hot cooked spaghetti or rice.
